About the event
Bring a bag lunch to the Fort Defiance picnic shelter on July 27th to hear a presentation by Appalachian State students on their findings from their recent studies on slavery in the region.
The students will provide unheard information that will close out their previous study. Staff will be on hand to provide tours of the home for the standard admission fee.
Please bring your own chair to this rain or shine event.
